Reborn Dolls
February was Bereunger Doll month and April brought something altogether different to Angel Supply. We celebrated a “Doll A Day” month where every single day we showcased a new reborn, a special technique or a gifted doll artist.
Stay tuned for updates over the summer and if you can think of a fun way to celebrate life like baby dolls for future months be sure to drop us a line. Your comments on any of the posts or click the contact us link to let us know your thoughts. We love hearing from all of our visitors.
Favorite Reborn Doll Voted Was Emily
Emily is a breathing, sleeping baby doll and she is gorgeous. Every breath she takes reminds me of a life to be cherished, how very special every moment in our own lives are. Baby Emily is a first-ever doll by Linda Webb with the realistic breathing movement and is presented to you from the Ashton-Drake Galleries. You can watch or hear her breathe by just touching her tummy or pressing your ear near her. Emily is crafted with lifelike RealTouch soft vinyl, she has hand-rooted hair, and hand-painted features of course. She’s dressed in a white eyelet one-piece jumper with a ruffled collar and cuffs. She also wears an embroidered sweater and a headband. Satin bows are included in her outfit as she is a true reborning treasure. Emily is a limited edition, collectible reborn, available through AngelSupply.

Reborning News: March 2010
March is Berenguer Doll Month at Angel Supply! We’re featuring each Berenguer doll one by one and discussing ways to kit with Berenguer or accessorize your favorite reborn.
Reborning Update: January 2010
Some of the reborn dolls you’re about to see are so realistic they make passersby do a double take. In fact it was reported that in Australia last year, police officers smashed a car window parked on the road to rescue an unconscious baby from a locked vehicle. The baby in question was a reborn doll. The same happened in America in 2009.
Before you start thinking that the police in either country weren’t too bright you’ll have to see some of these creations. From their skin tone to their micro-rooted hair (done with special tools and techniques), a perfectly proportioned and weighted body, these babies not only look and feel real they also breathe.
From a true masterpiece to a starter’s kit, reborning baby dolls could be a lucrative hobby for many home crafters. In fact there are now many famous artists in this industry who sell their creations for thousands of dollars. However, should you choose to just keep it as a hobby you’ll want to enter slowly into the craft and investigate the many tools, paints and enhancements available in the marketplace.
