Many weeks of hard tedious work go into making these one of a kind collectible dolls. Many layers of paint are applied and baked. Several hours of hand rooting fine 1-2 hairs into the dolls head are spent. However, this process provides many years of love and adoration from collectors, doll makers, and the people who enjoy them.
Reborn dolls, their collectors, and artists/makers are proud of their art form. However, not everyone is in love with them like we are. I UNDERSTAND THAT! These are NOT play dolls for little children. They are made to be displayed in various ways, and photography purposes. It is an ART form.
In more populated areas, they are sold directly from the sellers “nursery” or home, at flea markets, and doll shows/exhibits.
