What does OOAK stand for?
I’ve just begun collecting dolls and there is a category “OOAK”–does it have to do with the Artist’s Offerings? Can’t figure out what the K would be for? From what I understand, OOAK means “one of a kind” in the sense that the maker doesn’t make bunches of the same design, just one.
It also indicates that the it is the maker’s design, not made from a kit, etc. Even for the “altered” dolls. It should still mean that the doll was altered a lot by the maker and with their own ideas.
